Duran Duran je anglická popová hudební skupina. V 80. letech patřili k nejúspěšnějším kapelám, doposud vydali 14 studiových alb. Skupinu založili v roce 1978 v anglickém Birminghamu klávesista Nick Rhodes a basista John Taylor. Jejich raný zvuk úžasně kombinoval mnoho vlivů – soulovou hudbu jejich mládí, newyorskou undergroundovou scénu sedmdesátých let představovanou kapelami New York Dolls a Velvet Underground, art pop Davida Bowieho a glam kapely jako byli Roxy Music. Duran Duran je první album skupiny Duran Duran, které vyšlo v červnu 1981 u EMI Records.
